In the Logistics Management 2004 Quest for Quality reader survey, Landstar Ranger, part of the Landstar Carrier Group, ranked 4th out of five award- winning carriers in the Heavy Haul category. Landstar Logistics, meanwhile, earned the top spot among nine companies in the third-party logistics (3PL) category and was ranked 4th out of six award winners in Intermodal Marketing. The results of the survey published in the August issue of Logistics Management marks the magazine's 21st annual report on customer satisfaction.

Landstar Logistics earned a Top 10 3PL Excellence Award in another reader satisfaction survey by Inbound Logistics. According to the publication, readers chose Landstar Logistics out of more than 300 companies nominated. This is the second consecutive year Landstar Logistics has made the list.
