BIOGRAPHY

Matt Miller serves as Chief Safety & Operations Officer of Landstar. He has enterprise responsibility for all operational matters relating to Landstar’s capacity network of truck owner-operators and third-party truck brokerage carriers. Mr. Miller’s role also includes responsibility for safety, compliance, trailer maintenance and utilization and operations solutions at Landstar.

During his 15-year career in leadership with Landstar, Mr. Miller has held positions of increasing responsibility in safety, operations, finance and risk management. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of Safety, Compliance, Trailer Management and Insurance Administration, and before that as Vice President of Trailer Management. Over his tenure, he has gained a broad base of knowledge and implemented many innovative solutions that have built efficiencies across Company operations, with a particular focus on enhancements that have improved the performance of Landstar’s trailer fleet.

Mr. Miller also serves on the board of the Florida Trucking Association.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in finance and a Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Florida, and he is a certified public accountant. Mr. Miller and his wife, Michelle, live in Jacksonville, Florida, and have two adult children.
