Bill Clement
Bill Clement serves as Landstar’s Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, leading the company’s commercial strategy with a focus on supporting the success of Landstar’s independent agent network, strengthening customer relationships, and driving growth across the company’s strategic transportation services. He works closely with senior leadership to advance Landstar’s long-term growth strategy and deliver value to agents, customers, and capacity providers.
Clement joined Landstar in 2026, bringing more than 30 years of leadership experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Prior to joining the company, he served as Group President and Chief Strategy Officer at CRST and as President of CSX’s intermodal business unit. He held a series of leadership roles spanning strategy, sales, marketing, operations, and finance, with significant profit-and-loss responsibility.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Jacksonville University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Florida. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Clement and his wife, Deanna, reside in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. They have two adult children.
